Whether your interest is in learning traditional techniques, or in moving on to a more individual experimental approach we hope that you will find something to enjoy at our classes. Hand-stitching, machine embroidery, mixed-media work, felt-making, and working with paper or metal are just some of the subjects we offer. Beginners are especially welcome.

Tutors hold either art college degrees or City and Guilds Advanced Diplomas. In addition all members have their work reviewed regularly by an external assessor and have a teaching qualification or considerable relevant experience.

We hold week-long residential courses every June and July in picturesque St. Andrews (with time off, of course, to enjoy the local amenities!) and a number of one-day classes take place at other locations in Scotland during the year.
